I am a freelance writer with a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA. Upon my graduation in 2005, I signed a professional track and field contract with Nike, Inc. to compete for the USA in preparation for the 2008 Olympic Games. In 2008 I earned a position on the USATF Olympic team as an alternate in the 1500 meters.
Throughout my professional and Olympic track and field career, I have seized opportunities to develop my skills as an effective communicator and story teller through motivational speaking and freelance writing. Although my background and writing experience has been sports-focused, my writing skills and preferences are not limited solely to sports.
My skills as a writer range from technical, journalistic and research based all the way to poetic and creative. I am open and excited to take on projects varying in both topic and style.
